I have a customer with an unusual use of VTC.  I have their C60 tied into their Cisco Unified Communications Manager via an IOS gatekeeper so that PSTN voice only calls can go in or out.  What they are trying to do is to initiate a call to the PSTN to a conference bridge, then send the codec output down to a media decoder card on a PC.  This PC then takes the content and sends it up to a media hosting provider.  This allows them to broadcast a room presentation out via audio only (PSTN call) and video/audio via the web.  All we have to do to make this work exactly like we want it to is to switch to Speaker/Participant View after the audio call is connected.  All of this plan works like a champ, there's just one very large problem: a few seconds after switching the view, a big block pops up in the middle of the screen which says, "In Audio Call."  I cannot seem to find any way to remove this block, other than popping up a menu.  A few seconds after getting out of the menu, the big block again pops up in the middle of the screen.  If they are viewing PC content, this isn't an issue as the message does not display, but if they are wanting to only show themselves on the screen, it is at play.

Any ideas on this one?  I'm not finding anything which addresses this in the API guide or anything on web searches.  I simply need to remove this not-so-helpful message from the screen entirely.

Hi Joshua,
I can confirm that this is a bug. I have reported it to the UI team here in R&D. Until now the only option to get around this is to disable OSD (On Screen Display). If you are using a control system we recommend that OSD is turned off anyway. The command for this is "xConfiguration Video OSD Mode: <On/Off>. I am unfortunately not able to give any promises on when there will be a fix around for this thought...
