Core Issue
In the Cisco CallManager 4.x, some users fail to log on to the Cisco CallManager User (CCMUser) page, and the no device is associated with the user error message appears. Other users can log on to the CCMUser page without any issues and can configure the speed dials as well.
Resolution
This message appears when no device association is found for a user. In order to resolve this issue, associate a device/phone with the users in the Global Directory of the Cisco CallManager Administration page. In order to do this, complete these steps:
- Choose the user configuration page under Global Directory from the Cisco CallManager Administration page.
- On left side, choose Device Association.
- Associate a phone with the user. Then, users can see their phone in the CCMUser page.
