hello everybody!

I'm a novice with cisco TMS. I installed cisco TMS on windows server 2008.  if it's not difficult for you could you tell me where I can find explicit instructions about integration cisco VCS and cisco TMS and also about other TMS features.
I found some guides on cisco.com but those is not usefull enough =(

BR,
-Denis

Denis,

you need a valid system license to add systems to TMS. If you have this license, integrating a VCS to TMS is easily done by merely adding the VCS (by i.e it's IP address in the "Systems -> Navigator" page). All functionality should be available for you (system settings, CDR's etc.) once you added your system to TMS.

Please also refer to our documentation at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps11338/index.html

Regards,

Torgeir

Hi, Torgeir!

Could you tell me. Is providioning supported in trial version?

When I'm adding VCS 6.0 to trial version of TMS 13.0 I have a bugs in log:

- Unable to contact tms agent: Could not connect to TMS Agent REST Service. => Unable to connect to the remote server
TMS Version 13

- Cannot open database "tmsng" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'sa'.

How can I fix these bugs?

BR,
-Denis

Denis,

see my comments below:

*  I don't think so. you need a license on the VCS for provisioning support. Please contact Cisco sales, they will help you get this key.

- Unable to contact tms agent: Could not connect to TMS Agent REST Service. => Unable to connect to the remote server

* I think this error is because you'll need provisioning license on the VCS.

- Cannot open database "tmsng" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'sa'.
* Your database password must have changed since you installed TMS. Please refer to the TMS installation documentation on how to change set the password. you can use TMS Tools to do this.

Denis,

I would not know. I think you need to approach the sales line at Cisco to get some help. I hope you will get an answer there,

Best regards,
Torgeir

The starter pack does not support Cisco TMS provisioning.  The Starter Pack is explicitly built to support provisioning in a  stand-alone, limited version, without Cisco TMS.  It is the 'little brother' version of the full blown Cisco TMS Provisioning solution.

Cisco TMS Agent should not be enabled in Cisco TMS when using starter pack VCSs.
