My 1st post on here and I hope I can get some answers!!
The company I work for here is rolling out a huge TANDBERG solution with variouse C series Codecs and 2 Codian MSE8000's, VCS Control (Redundant) and TMS also Redundant along with an ISDN Blade in both MCU's.
Looking to develop a large scale Video Helpdesk but we are concerend with the lack of some of the feautures we have come to rely on in the past.
Instead of writing up a 3 page note on here, I will just itemize our concerns. If you would like more detail or info on anything that I might have missed, lets talk on here!!!
1. C series Codecs running version 3.1.2 - No real time stats through the web GUI on P2P 2. C Series Codecs - No remote web view of far side on the web GUI 3. C Series Codecs - No ability to view local phone book through web GUI or make a call using local phone book. No ability to (other than TELNET) to view/add/modify entries 4. C Series Codecs - No CDR records via GUI 5. C SeriesCodecs - System Info page displays wrong Installed options on the codec, need to TELNET to see whats actually installed. 6. TMS - No Realtime call stats for ongoing conferences (Can only pull reports for past conferences)
if anyone has any solution to any of these issues, please share the wealth!! Also, if this is not the right place to post please let me know.
Looking to enhance our user experience here utilizing the TANDBERG/CISCO solutions..

Good to see you on here, man. Haven't seen you since the Telus days...
Unfortunately, the issues you've presented here seem to still be issues. Tandberg claimed that 3.0 would have more features akin to the MXPs, but nothing really meaty seems to have come about.
Here's hoping some answers roll along soon.

1) This is implemented in TC4.0 and above. 2) This is implemented in TC4.0 and above. Note will not work with the EX line. 3) Still an issue. You can however make calls, without the phonebook 4) You have call history via the GUI, but not CDR records. CDR records is available via the API. 5) Fixed in TC4.x 6) Maybe somone with TMS knowledge can answer this one.
