How do you know the session data isn't being created? The picture looks fine.
If you use the Studio debugger (Right click the project name in the Navigator and select Debug Call Studio Project). Place a simulated phone call in the debugger and then in the top left corner click on the element that's creating the session/element data. In the upper right corner, you'll be able to see your Element and Session data variables.
Then you'll know if they're created or not, and you'll know what they're called.

To switch back to builder, press the Builder button in the top right corner of the Debug window.

I was using java to check it but I had a typo in my code and thats why I thought it was not set. thank you!
