Created by: Scott Rowan on 13-09-2012 02:05:39 PM I'm stuck on getting Webex Social going. I think I need a more that the Quad password that comes with the Dev VM. I've created other users, and changed the QUAD password, to try to see if could get something moving, but no joy. This example does not authenticate in OAuth because it required a Consumer Key pair. I don't have one. Using the one in the example doesn't work. I also tried Basic Authentication, but get a 500 error (see below). Should I have a Key Pair to authenticate against WebEx Social DEV VM?

When referring to Key Pair, I am referring to the instructions <http://developer.cisco.com/web/webexsocial-developer/explore-api> * Note the typo in BOLD We can now enter our consumer key/secret and access token/secert into the Login section of the Firefox REST client so we can authenticatea calls to WebEx Social API. Click on the Login Button. Select the OAuth Radio Button Enter your api consumer key and secret and your access token and token secret. Accept the other default values Click Save
THANK YOU! Scott
