This document covers the Configuration procedures for Cisco Unified SIP-IP Phone 9951 using Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express 8.5 .

Detailed description of CME commands:
Step 1: To enable Voice register global configuration
Router# configure terminal
Router(config)#voice register global
Router(config-register-global)#mode cme
Router(config-register-global)#max-dn 5
Step 2: To Create Profile
Router(config-register-global)# create profile
Generates provisioning files required for SIP phones and writes the file to the location specified with the tftp-path command.
Router(config-register-global)#exit
Step3: For Voice register pool configuration
Router(config)#voice register pool 1
Router(config-register-pool)#id mac 0009.A3D4.1234
Explicitly identifies a locally available individual SIP phone to support a degree of authentication.
Router(config-register-pool)#exit
Step4: For Voice register template configuration
Router(config)voice register template 10
Enters voice register template configuration mode to define a template of common parameters for SIP phones in Cisco Unified CME.
• Range: 1 to 5.
Router(config-register-template)# end
Step5: To Apply configuration
Apply-config is similar to resetting or restarting the phones and allowing the phones to update phone configuration files. Phones only reboot if needed. To apply video configuration to Cisco Unified IP phones 8961, 9951 and 9971, follow these steps:
Router# configure terminal
Router(config)#voice register pool 1
Router(config-register-pool)#apply-config
Sample CME 8.5 Configuration
The following example shows CME 8.5 configuration with SIP Phone type 9951:
Router#show run
Voice Service Parameter Configuration ! voice service voip allow-connections sip to sip ! --- Enable SIP to SIP Calls
fax protocol t38 version 0 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback none !
Voice Register Global Parameter configuration ! voice register global ! --- Set Cisco IOS SIP registrar to CME Mode
! ----- Set the Source address for the phone registration with port 5060
max-dn 5 ! --- Set maximum extension
! --- Set maximum phones
! --- Specify the phone loads for phone type 9951. Make sure this matches with the firmware file on flash
! --- Set authentication for Phone registration.
! --- Set voice mail Pilot number.
! --- Specify the path for tftp files.
! --- Create configuration files for all phones !
Voice DN & Extension Configuration ! voice register dn 1 name simon ! --- Set display name.
! --- Set extension number.
! --- Configure call forward on busy to voice mail pilot.
! --- Configure call forward on no answer to voice mail pilot.

Voice Register Pool Parameter Configuration ! voice register pool 1 ! --- Specify Phone Mac-address.
type 9951 ! --- Specify Phone type as 9951.
! --- Assign button 1 dn tag 1.

in order to accept authentification, I've added to my config this :
voice service voip
allow-connections sip to sip
sip
registrar server expires max 1200 min 300

Hi Everyone.
I have something to complete with:
voice service voip
ip address trusted list
ipv4 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
Without these lines my SIP phones was unable to call any extension!
