hey
i have a C60 codec that is mounted in a rack.
i have 2 1080P cameras to hookup to this unit.
unfortunately i have to run the HDMI cable greater that 50ft,
this is when the Magenta HD1 (HDMI over UTP) device came into the equation.
for some reason i am not able to get video on from the cameras using this device. if any video appears its for a brief moment.
if anyone knows of any special parameters on these cameras that prevent this from working pls let me know.
P.S
i was successful in using a 720p Tandberg Camera hooked to another magenta cyan (HDMI over UTP) device.
the difference in that situation was that the magenta cyan device used 2 x Cat5, while the new magenta piece only using 1 Cat 6.
