I need to burn a copy to give to operators who are not connected to an outside server. Java script will not work in this secure facility.Subject: RE: TC Console to disk download? If so, we'll probably start releasing TC Console in such a format as well.Subject: RE: TC Console to disk download? Replied by: Dennis Packard on 05-04-2011 10:30:14 PMI tried to launch the file using the .bat launch file using a machine with the web disabled. It failed to launch. Is there a different method for installing this file? Is there an windows executable available?Subject: RE: TC Console to disk download? Replied by: Viggo Fredriksen on 06-04-2011 12:14:37 PMIt could be wrapped in a .exe file, but it would essentially do the same. Could you please test the following:1) Unzip the .zip file2) Edit the launch.bat file with notepad or similar, add pause at the end of the file1javaws data\launch.jnlp
2pause
3) Execute launch.bat There should now either be an error on the command window, or there should be an error from theJava UI.Subject: RE: TC Console to disk download? Replied by: Dennis Packard on 07-04-2011 04:10:44 PMI see a pause on the command line, "press any key to continue". I dont see any errors.I only tried this on my machine which has TC Console installed. I try to uninstall this file to test again but windows does not remove all of the file. (Unable to completley uninstall application). Is there something in the registry that needs to be removed? I lauched the bat file and the previous intalled TC launches so I don't have a convient way of testing.Subject: RE: TC Console to disk download? Replied by: Viggo Fredriksen on 13-04-2011 09:24:23 AMHi, as far as I can see in your previous post, you were able to launch it using the .bat file.In order to be 100% certain that it works without a previous installation: Start -> Control Panel -> Java -> Temporary Internet Files -> ViewThen remove the TC Console from the cache. The .bat file should reinstall TC Consoleto the same location, without the need for network.A fully installable TC Console may be released in the future, but this is a task that willtake some time.
