Core Issue

If the managers do not have the Shared Lines checked, it can result in the appearance of this error message in the IP Manager Assistant (IPMA):

This assistant has some managers using shared lines and some using proxy lines. This mixed mode is not supported

Resolution

In order to fix this problem, complete these steps:

  1. Delete and re-add the IPMA configuration for that manager.

  2. Make sure that Shared Lines is checked.

  3. Restart IPMA through the Apache Tomcat client.

  4. Reset the phone of that manager.
