Core Issue
If the managers do not have the Shared Lines checked, it can result in the appearance of this error message in the IP Manager Assistant (IPMA):
This assistant has some managers using shared lines and some using proxy lines. This mixed mode is not supported
Resolution
In order to fix this problem, complete these steps:
- Delete and re-add the IPMA configuration for that manager.
- Make sure that Shared Lines is checked.
- Restart IPMA through the Apache Tomcat client.
- Reset the phone of that manager.
