Introduction

Message Store Configuration Wizard is a tool which you run after Cisco Unity Installation and Configuration Assistant (CUICA) where you choose partnership with either Microsoft Exchange server or Lotus Domino. You need to decide where to home new mailboxes in your message store when they are added through the Cisco Unity System Administration windows.

MSCW is mainly used to change partnter server from Exchange 2003 to Exchannge 2007/2010.

Setting Up the Message Store Configuration Wizard

The Message Store Configuration Wizard asks you to choose the following:

A message store
The location for new mailboxes
Your directory services account

Changing the Partner Server for Cisco Uinty to an Exchange 2007/2010 Server.

In the Add/Remove Programs > Control Panel, run the Cisco Unity Message Store Configuration wizard,

and select the following options:

For the message store version

Select Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010.

For the server

Select the Exchange 2010 server that you want

to use as the partner Exchange server.

Problem

For issue like -Not able to retrieve voice mails with new exchange server

Solution

Run Permissions wizard and Message Store Configuration Wizard to select the new partner exchange server for unity.
