David, Can you see if, instead of blocking this access, the phones might be made to support HTTPS, or at least allow customers to decide if they want to take the risk and allow XSI to the phones? There are very important issues with customers who need to change settings like ethernet negotiation, alt TFTP which can only currently be done from the phone itself (unless that is being changed too).

Thanks alot for your reply, Is there another way to change remotely the network configurations of cisco IP Phone 7912, can i change it through it's web page?
