I am wondering if it is possible to get the codec to do the following without making custom layouts from the control system:
View all participants on the first screen/output 1 on the C60/C40 codec. When you start presentation it would only be displayed on the output 2. If you receive a presentation it should only be displayed on the output 2, replacing my local presentation. When you are not connected in a video call the presentation still should only show up on the second screen only.
I have tried to setup the output 1 as first screen role and second screen role to presentation only. I have also selected dualpresentation only on the monitors option.
When I have disconnected from all calls and press the presentation button on the remote control, I get my presentation on the first screen and not on the screen that have the presentation only role.
When I have one participant connected, I am able to send a presentation to far end but my two screens just display farend camera on first screen (this is ok) and a black screen on my presentation only screen (not what I expect). The black picture is generated from the codec, not from a screen issue.
When a participant is sending me a presentation the screen continius to be black. When I change the output 2 screen role from presentationonly to second the presentation show up, but then the screen is used to view picture from far end too if the presentation is stopped. That is not what I want..

well, this doesn't sound right! Which SW version are you running and does it happen on both a C40 and a C60?

I used the TC console to setup the layout that I needed. I made a complete layout where normally my local presentation, and in presentation mode the active presentation always used the output 2. TC console was a great tool!
Two questions regarding TC console setup:
Does the monitor roles change how my custom layout behave?
In the monitor setting under OSD you can select single, dual and dualpresentation only.
When I programmed my custom layout the codec was on presentation only display setting. When I tried to change to dual I lost my custom layouts. Is the layout you make only stored in one display settings mode or is this just for the OSD layouts enable/disable selection?

Hi Kjetil,
when you change the monitor configuration (single, dual, ...), the codec will select a different
set of layouts. You can define your custom layouts to work with all the desired monitor
configurations by changing Configure->Setup Monitors->Display setup within TC Console.
Changing the monitor configuration will change the selected layouts within the layout family,
the default layout families and the OSD menu entries. So basically you'll have to configure
all the settings for each monitor configuration.
