Core Issue
The node might have lost the Synchronous Data Link (SDL) link due to someone deactivating the service, and the SDL links are not established even after reactivating the service in the Cisco Call Manager cluster.
Resolution
For the node that had the service deactivated, create a new Cisco CallManager group that contains that node. Once the group has been created you can issue the netstat -an command on this node to verify that the SDL links are established. This eliminates the need to reboot the nodes in the cluster.
