Core Issue

This issue is observed when you do not have proper the user rights and permissions assigned to the User account (administrator) which is logged in while you install the Microsoft Windows OS patch on Cisco CallManager.

Resolution

Complete these steps as mentioned in this Microsoft aritcle:


The user rights that are required by Update.exe


In case you still receive any errors, check the install logs for error messages. It is recommended that you stop these services manually and then upgrade the OS:

  • Cisco Security Agent

  • MSSQL Server

  • Cisco Database Layer Monitor

  • IIS Admin

  • Network Associates

  • McAfee Antivirus

  • Cisco CallManager Services
