Preformatted text has newlines stripped in email mailout

Hi,

I'm not sure if this at all related to my previous post regarding preformatted text , but let me first ask you to look at the code example in an answer given by Claudia de Luna

This is how it appeared in Claudia's answer

But in the email that I received notifying me of the reply, the code block had all the newlines removed, so that it looked like this in my email (this is the exact HTML code from the email)

...which is NOT what was posted.  Mind you, it's pretty hard to see in this forum until the problem I mentioned before is fixed. (If the block above appears as one big long single line, then the problem has been fixed)

@Tyler Langston , could you please follow this one up too, lets see if we can get this forum back on track as a forum for professionals.
