I have a callback script. I would like to create a running log file that shows the callback numbers that have been presented to the agent. This is mostly to help find out if the caller has left an invalid number.

Nick,
I am working on a call back script. I think I am about 95% there, would you be willing to share your script that is working? As far as the log file, can you append your call data, succuss or not, to a XML file? I will lab it up and see if I can come up with some thing.
Thanks,
Bill

My callback script looks at local area codes as well as often callers do not add prefix LD codes. The call back also can play a recorded message to the agent.
I'm using CCX 5.x but having trouble getting the timestamp and I don't know how to append to the xml file.
I Appricate your assistance.

Nick,
thanks for the script. I will load it up now and test with writing call data to an xml file. Then I will send it back.
