Have loaded ICM 5, SR 7, have created AW & HDS, Webview works. Created Client AW, have ICM Admin Workstation tool on desktop. When Config Mgr is clicked, ICM 5 Window pops, error msg: (-9986)Session to local database cannot be opened. Is this a SQL DSN config problem?
Thanks, No Resolution. may not have described problem very well. There isn't a fiber cable involved. Laptop connects via LAN / Cat 5. Problem is in aplication as loaded (have tried re-install) or SQL perms / rights / driver / registry. Unless there is something completely missing.
Make sure that the machine on which you are installing the client AW is a member of the same domain as the AW/Routers/loggers.
If you install the client AW on, say, your desktop which isn't a part of the same domain as the rest of IPCC, you will get errors.
thanks, does that mean any call center admin people have to be in the AW/HDS domain? or, can i front end the AW with a sessions server
