CVP Tech Prefixes

When a single digit is prepended to the front of the DNIS that we passed on to ISN it keeps that number and used it as the tech-prefix for the label that was returned from ICM, and we were able to route it through the gatekeeper based on the tech-prefix. Does it always take the first digit, or does it take any digits in front of the DNIS (and does it know DNIS length based on the configuration within the max App Server DNIS length). Any thoughts?

This behavior is controlled in VBAdmin by the SetSigDgits command. You must have this currently set to "1".

********** ISN Voice Browser Configuration Utility ************

>>>>setsigdigits /?

The number of leading significant digits (not including the tech-prefix, if it exists) which ISN will strip from the incoming DNIS. The value that is stripped is saved and prepended with a # sign to any transfers which occur out of the ISN Voice browser.

Valid Values: an integer >= 0

Default: 0
