CVP upgrade - metasynch.cmd

Hi All,

Do you guys typically run metasynch.cmd following the CVP upgrade? It is listed as a post-upgrade task, just wondering what this sync for APIs actually means and what happens if it does not run after an upgrade. Customer does not use any APIs into CVP and they did not run the script after their upgrade took place from CVP v11.6 to v12.6(1). Everything seems to be working well following the upgrade.

No need to run metasynch.cmd.

Just make sure in CVP Diag all the services are In service ( SIP,ICM, IVR and Licensed Port manager) and CVP VXML application status. CVP PG and PIM services.
