Installing Historical Reporting Client on Server OS?

Is there a way to install the Historical Reporting client on a Windows 2000 server?

The software does an OS check during the install. Based on the install log, I'm guessing there is some registry key I can add to force the software to bypass the OS check.

Has anyone been able to accomplish this?

CRS Historical Reporting client of IPCC Express 4.0 on Windows XP Professional with SR2 localised to Czech XP - both Scheduler and reporting client crash on memory access violation after being started. On Win2000 Professional it works OK.
