IPCC Custom Reporting

I am new to IPCC, and I'm tasked with creating some monitoring reports that are not available in Supervisor or Agent Desktop. These reports need to be real-time. I plan on creating a small VB.NET application, but I am not too familiar with the database schema. The reports happen to be very simple, but just need someone to point me to some documentation or SQL that can get me going.

Also, are there any off the shelf products that sell real-time monitoring reports? That might be a quick solution for us now.

I am on version 5.0. Found the database schema for the version 5.0. Have another question though.

I was just told real-time data in the Cisco environment isn't stored in a database until it hits 5-minute rollover, the more current stuff is in RAM on the Router.

If this is true, is it possible to generate real-time reports through SQL?
