Monitor Voice Mail Status in Unity Express

On a 2651 router with a CUE module, there appears to be no methods for monitoring the status of the V-mail service. There are no flags in SNMP to check the service.

Has anyone created/found an automated method to query for the status of the voice mail service in Unity Express?

What product would have the ability to check the status of the V-mail service?

With Cisco Unity Express version 2.1.1, you can automated the status of voice mail service.

Were actually looking for a way to monitor the status of the voicemail system remotely. I have written a script to backup the CUE automatically however it fails on occasion leaving the voicemail in offline mode. I would like to monitor the status of the voicemail to make sure it is online. There are no SNMP traps that support this, so I'm looking for another method.
