move the rascal and monitor server to a dedicated server

We are going to move the following two components to the remote lan where agents sit so that we can monitor and record the agents conversation.

1.Cisco Desktop Rascal Server (Recording and Statistics Server)

2. Cisco Desktop Voip Monitor Server

One question here, since the statistics server is same as recording(rascal). What is the statistics server doing?Is there any impact to move this from current server to remote lan?
