I've got a almost simelar problem, like John;
My ISP has blocked some options of my Cisco EPC3925 router. I'm not able to change the Connection Mode.
The Connection mode is set to 'DHCP' and blocked for changing. I would like to renew my WAN IP address...
I contacted my ISP but they could not help me refreshing my WAN IP address, nor to release the protection of this option.
Anyone suggestions how to release/renew or refresh my WAN IP address while this Connection Mode option is blocked?
Maybe a external command??
By the way: Powering of the router and wait for 24 hours turning it on again did not resolve the problem...
