passing vars to other external apps

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has used IPCCx to pass vars to an external app? I am curious how this would work and how I might go about scripting it. If you have done/tried it please let me know.

Yes, I have used to trigger HTMl and VB Apps. Here is the reference document - pages 58-77. It tells you how to setup macros and also pass parameters to external applications.

Basically, it is more of a configuration thing. You just need to populate the variables and pass the desired variables to the 3rd party app. Let me know if you run into any issues.
