PCCE 12.6 user.microapp.ToExtVXML change Maximum Array Size

Hello,

we have a PCCE 12.6 and we have the need to change the Maximum Array Size of variable user.microapp.ToExtVXML.

It's possible to do it or can we delete and recreate the variable with new values?

Absolutely, in PCCE 12.6, you can easily adjust the Maximum Array Size of the variable user.microapp.ToExtVXML without deleting and recreating it.

They will have to restart the server in order for the ECC changes to be recognized.

Hi,

first i would like to thank you all for the answers.

As you can see in the picture bellow, the variable user.microapp.ToExtVXML is automatically created in the PCCE installation and we are able to change the "MaxLength", in accordance with the maximum payload, but it's not possible to change Maximum Array Size because the campus is disabled:

so, we would like to be sure if we deleted it will be possible to recreated with data desired, or if there is another way to change.

Are you trying to add a 6th/change it to more than 5? If so, based on some of the mentions in these older defects, that may not be an option, at least how I read them.

we don't want to increase to 5, we want to decrease to 2. 

But as mention in the bugs, it's possible to delete and recreate the variable....

Hi,

we solve the issue like this:

1 - rename the variable name, Ex:user.microapp.ToExtVXML to user.microapp.ToExtVXML2. Then all ICM scripts change automatically the nodes to the new variable name;

2 - recreate the variable with desired campus, user.microapp.ToExtVXML;

3 - change the scripts to use the new recreated variable, user.microapp.ToExtVXML;

4 - delete the old variable, user.microapp.ToExtVXML2.
