UCCE 12.6(2) Tech refresh upgrade

Hi 

We having UCCE 12.5(1) version installed with ECE 12.5(1) with Windows server OS 2016 and SQL 2017. Now we are planning to upgrade UCCE Version to 12.6(2) and ECE 12.6(1) along with Windows server OS version 2019 and SQL version 2019. 

We have installed and tested a parallel new UCCE and all dependent components(ICM 12.6(2), CUIC 12.6(2), VVB 12.6(2), Finesse 12.6(2), CVP 12.6(2) , Live data 12.6(2) and UCM 14 expect ECE ) with Windows OS 2019 and   SQL 2019 on different hardware’s. 

Now planning to do Logger and HDS DB migration as first phase and then ECE upgrade and migration as second phase a week later(ECE will be with old UCCE 12.5(1) for a week). Can we approach the upgrade in this way?

Hi Tibin,

According to the UCCE Compatibility Matrix, Release 12.6(x). ECE 12.5.x will work backward compatibility with CCE 12.6.x

     Cisco Notes: ECE 12.6 is supported only on Windows Server 2019 (Standard and Datacenter). For Windows Server 2016 support across the deployment, continue to use ECE 12.5 with CCE 12.6.
