Hi,
New user I created - won't let me choose a team to associate with (no default as well).
This user also won't appear in my dashboard, even though it's working (calls get in and out).
Are those problems connected?

what's UCCX version exactly ?
also, did you test with another web browser ? (like Firefox..)

UCCX version is 10.72.70.14, and I have checked with both firefox and chrome, both displayed the same.

i suggest reboot your UCCX vm, then check again..
also, perform these steps on the uccx web admin page and check again:
>> go to subsystems >> RmCm >>
1- on >> Resource Groups >> check or define new entry..
2- on >> Resources >> check or Assign agents to Resource Group..
and then
3- on >> Contact Service Queues >> check & Assign Resource Group..
And how long did this version of the system work well and without problems? (bug is very likely in old versions)
Did something special happen that could be related and cause this problem?
For example, did you change the configuration in any section of uccx?..
