Dear Member,

I m  a new engineer to deploy a UCCX, I would like to know the the step how to use script to call or send a http request to external server?

For example, softphone user when trigger a call and the script will send a http request to notice a thrid party server.

I try to search on cisco and document, I only find some hint on "Create URL Doc " and "HTTP forward"

Any member can explain to me about the step and how to configure?

Regards

One question you will need to know the answer to is:  Does your third party web server accept HTTP GET or HTTP POST?

Have a look at this long conversation I had with another member, and see if this sheds some light on things.

You could certainly use the Create URL Document step to have it help you generate the correct syntax, but you would not be using the HTTP Forward step.

Dear member,

I sorry that may be I got a big mistake, our UCCX is enchanced license and I check the document on cisco said that HTTP trigger only support on Pre or IVR license. Is any other method I can do the HTTP request.

Regards

The ability for your UCCX system to retrieve web resources is not limited to Premium.  You can do this in enhanced.

The feature you are speaking of, is HTTP Triggers, wherein, UCCX acts as a web server, and accepts web requests, in which you as the administrator design a workflow which should result in an HTTP response to that client.

Summary:

set http_response = url[www.google.com]

You can retrieve the google homepage in enhanced.

Hello,

We do have Enhanced and we are trying to utilize HTTP triggers.  When defining a application, we see that HTTP trigger is not an option.    Are you saying we can accomplish this by creating a Workflow Group?  We want to be able to have the Agents and Supervisors view Service Level stats real-time from a browser or phone.

Thanks,

Eddie
