What dah? High Availability HA configuration upgrade/update UCCX Log4j

I initially checked when the log4j vulnerability came out and read nothing was affected......but whatever.

We have a HA environment (2 of everything).  Every time there is an update or upgrade I am told by CISCO and our vendor (that manages our phone system) that we need to schedule down time.  Maybe it is just me, but thought one of reasons for the HA was to be able to perform maintenance while system was running.

My logic was to perform maintenance on sub, then fail the pub to the sub, then perform maintenance on the pub and then fail back to the pub.

What is wrong with this logic?

Nothing really wrong with the overall logic, other than that you’ll have to start the upgrade process on the Publisher. When it has completed you can proceed with your subscribers.
