wireshark logs of cisco voice gateway

Dear Experts,

can anyone provide me the steps to collect logs of cisco voice gateway throught wireshart actully i never used wireshark and someone told me if we collect logs through wireshark then cpu consumption on gateway is very less comepartively.

To use wire-shark for  a gateway, traffic , you can configure span port on the switch where the GW is connected.You can find you tube videos for this and set it up easily.

Also the commands for this can be found over cisco docs .following commands can be applied for 3750

monitor session (session number fx 1) source interface (and add the interface you would want to listen to fx gig1/0/1)

and then you set up the port you want your wireshark( installed on a PC) to be connected to

monitor session (same as session above) destination interface (and add the interface you want to send the traffic out on fx gig1/0/2)
