How long does it take Cisco to approve a new Service Contract?

I recently purchased a used ASA5508 and then purchased a SmartNet service contract for it through a Cisco Partner.  That was nearly a month ago and all the Partner can tell me is that Cisco is "still working on it."  

Can anyone shed any light on how long it should take to get a new service contract in place?

Hey @Pat Fahey,

I'm not sure how long it would take, but in case your Cisco Partner was not given the latest updates, you can check the service coverage status of your ASA5505 through Cisco portal (https://cway.cisco.com/sncheck/) by keying in the serial number.
