Hi all,

I am wondering if there is any way to send notifications to north-bound apps.

I tried searching about this feature but cannot get any concrete info.

What I am looking for is,

- WAE pushes network changes to other application (not being pulled through RestAPI)

If this feature is already available, please let me know if any documents available.

WAE 6.x has a JMS listener channel you can subscribe to in order to get notifications when a PCEP deployment has completed. The adoption of this was limited and it was primarily envisaged as a toolset for delayed deployment methods like Bandwidth Calendaring and other Bandwidth Scheduling events. Most implementations just polled the state from the north bound of the API to confirm the deployment status until such time as a Success or Fail was recorded.

If needed we can provide the examples of the code to use, however this feature will be deprecated in WAE 7.0

Hi Thygesen,

Thank you so much for the information.

I understand WAE's northbound notification system, both for 6.x and 7.0.

Thank you,
