Crosswork Hierarchical Controller (CHCO) – The API to your network

Abstract:
This session provides you with an introduction, as well as hands-on experience to the API and programmability features of CHCO – Crosswork Hierarchical Controller (CHCO) – the API to your network. We will start with a quick introduction of CHCO and move on to SHQL, CHCO’s proprietary query language, optimized for multilayered, complex networks. You will learn how to analyze and troubleshoot failures using programmable and customizable queries.
We will also look at how CHCO can help you to detect and locate potential root causes of service-impacting issues and travel back and forth in time using the CHCO time machine to zoom in on the state of the network before or after an event. The session will also touch upon how other components in your IT echo systems can consume the power of SHQL to interact with CHCO and ultimately the network. To wrap it all up and put learning into action, this session will be concluded by a hands-on part, bringing it all together.
