From RESTCONF to NETCONF journey and Network Disaggregation Automation at Orange

Abstract:
Until now we used NSO at Orange Business for the management of devices using officially available NEDs. What if we need to manage devices without NED? This is our story of how we moved from RESTCONF to NETCONF build NED to manage disaggregated network devices using SONiC OS or VNF using the 6WIND operating system.
About the Speaker: Tomáš Kubina started his career as a network engineer at Orange Business Services in 2010. He jumped into the automation area in 2017 by working on different NSO projects. Since then he also worked on other projects including automated testing of NOS releases.
