CNC Multivendor out of the box support and real deployment experience from Cisco CX Services
Abstract: Crosswork Network Controller playes a dual role of an SDN controller and Element Management system in a multivendor network environment. With its latest 7.1 release, Crosswork Network Controller introduces mutiple customization options on the Element Management area to extend its existing out of the box support for third party platforms. During this session, we will start describing the Element Management functions available in Crosswork Network Controller. We will then explore what are the functional areas where Crosswork Network Controller provides out of the box support for third party platforms, going in details on:
Inventory Collection
Alarms
Topology Discovery
Performance Management
Finally we will present the available customization options with also a small demo on a couplle of use cases using a Juniper vMX: Fault and Configurartion Backup. Additionally, we will showcase a few examples of how Cisco CX has helped service providers customize CNC for multivendor deployments for use cases such as service provisioning, service assurance, element management functions and others
