Driving Adoption with Crosswork Network Controller: Leveraging Brownfield Service Discovery, Workflow Automation, Service Assurance, and Traffic Engineering

Operation Track: Breakout

Deploying the Crosswork Network Controller (CNC) in brownfield environments enables seamless onboarding of existing L2 and L3 VPN services through the extensible and customizable Crosswork Auto-Discovery framework. The Crosswork Auto-Discovery tool enables discovery of brownfield services to be reconciled and managed by Crosswork NSO. While generic by design, it was developed specifically for use with Crosswork Network Controller to discover and onboard existing L2 and L3 VPN services in customer networks. This solution provides a powerful mechanism to ensure end-to-end service visibility and lifecycle management. CNC leverages workflow automation to accelerate integration and reduce operational overhead, allowing operators to streamline brownfield service onboarding with minimal manual intervention. The Discovery framework can be tailored to accommodate complex network conditions and diverse service models, making it adaptable to real-world deployments. CNC further enhances brownfield environments with advanced traffic engineering for optimized, policy-based path computation, as well as rich visualization capabilities for service topology and health. Integrated service assurance features enable proactive monitoring and remediation, transforming legacy infrastructures into automated, observable, and programmable networks without disruption.
