What I know i that SDWAN routers can be imported to CX agent either by SDWAN manager or directly but directly was the preferred method due to technical limitations on SDWAN manager.
Is that still the case? Are there still technical limitations on importing via SDWAN manager or is the telemetry through it is as accurate as importing directly to the CX agent?

When you go to Admin Data Sources and Add the data source for seedfile, you will be shown a screen to provide the file. There is a template to download from there so you don't need to start from scratch.

OK, so if we are going to import directly:
1- Can we import some devices through ip ranges and some other devices through seed files or do these two methods collide with each other?
2- If we are going to import via a seed file, is there a template that we can download and fill up?

It is IP range or seedfile but not both on the same Agent. There is also CDP/LLDP for discovery now. There is a template provided to download for the seedfile format. The Agent docs linked from help give you lots of details.

You can use a template and import the devices.

Can we download a ready-made template from CX cloud or do we have to make our own with the same format in this documentation:
