ASA 1000V Deployment

Hello,

I have a question regarding the architectural deployment of the ASA-1000V. Can the ASA-1000V be deployed WITHOUT the NX1000V vSwitch? I assume it is required but I'm unable to find supported documentation on this topic. Also, can ASA-1000V be deployed on the NX1010 appliance (via the VNMC)?
