Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series Switches

Dear Sir,

I would like to order Catalyst C9500-24Y4C switch, but I found that there are (24Y4C-A, 24Y4C-E, 24Y4C-EDU).

Could you please tell me the differences between them ?

I believe they related to the new licensing scheme cisco is introducing, A = Advantage E = is Essentials, I believe they can be looked at as A is akin to Lan base and the E is like the IP services image.

I have a C9500-24Y4C , and i need to install ios cat9k_iosxe.16.06.05.SPA.bin

The procedure is 

copy usbflash0: flash:

cat9k_iosxe.16.06.05.SPA.bin

then, 

install add file flash:cat9k_iosxe.16.06.05.SPA.bin activate commit

reloads

It supposed to take the new ios code, instead it keeps rebooting

I have to go to rommon to load the original ios code that comes with the switch:cat9k_iosxe.16.09.03.SPA.bin

I tried to also change the bootflash to packages.conf and cat9k_iosxe.16.06.05.SPA.bin and it keeps rebooting

config t

boot system bootflash:packages.conf

or

boot system bootflash:cat9k_iosxe.16.06.05.SPA.bin

and also

no boot system bootflash:cat9k_iosxe.16.09.03.SPA.bin

not sure if this switch is not compatible with this 16.6.5 version or I'm missing something.
