Cisco Nexus 2348TQ connected to a 9396PX via a Cisco QSFP-4SFP10G-CU3M breakout cable.
The FEX will fully boot sometimes and works great and other times after a power cycle it hangs or something and wont boot to the point where it enables the uplink ports to the parent switch. Power draining it and reseating the power supplies and fans have no effect on the issue and it takes a lot of power cycling to get the thing to bring up the uplinks and connect to the 9396 again.
LED on boot: Flash Blue 1 second > Green 1 second > then goes/stays on Amber/Red.
Tried a different breakout cable.
Changed power supplies and fans on FEX
Tried a different uplink port on the FEX
Connected it to a different 9396.
Any other tshooting steps I can perform to possibly have some insight into what it is hanging on? Any tricks of resetting the fex back to defaults? It would be nice to see a console output. I see it has a HDMI console port. How would I go about obtaining or making a cable for this?
