Data Center Switches

I was wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction on upgrading Catalyst 9400 core switches live in production.  What are the general steps and the things to watch out for to keep the downtime minimum?

Nexus 93180 some interfaces has "output error" on "Store and Forward" Mode.I remember  “Cut-Through Mode”  will be  "output error"  if interface has "input error".but My Nexus 93180 is "Store and Forward" Mode.interface does not have "input error".
