Hello Cisco community, I hope you can help me with an issue I have.
A few days ago, we replaced a network cabinet in our data center, as part of it we had to disconnect one of the nexus 5K and reconnect it in the new cabinet.
We have two nexus 5596UP configured in a VPC domain 1 with a VPC peer link connected directly, keep-alive is sent and received from the Mgmt0 interface through a management network.
The issue we had is as follows: we connected the Peer-Link first, and then the Peer-Keepalive. Right after connecting the Peer-Keepalive, all the VPC went down and then up after a while.
Found out that Auto-Recovery caused that as described here:
https://community.cisco.com/t5/networking-documents/vpc-auto-recovery-feature-in-nexus-7000/ta-p/3123651
My question is - is there a way to avoid these things that are hard to predict in the future from happening again? a method? a place to check for "special" configuration considerations?
Many thanks in advance!
