I am labing a Programmable Fabric setup with 9000v running 9.3.3 NX-OS and and DCNM 11.3.1. In general it works fine from a unicast point of view, two fabrics and an interconnect all work great. I have a border spine that connects to a non VXLAN network with the VRF-Lite external template and that works great for unicast as well.
The issue I have is getting multicast to work anywhere except inside a virtual network.
Whatever I do to the VRF config it doesn't change the switch config when I try and update them it just says that there are no changes to be made.
Looking the spine and leaf configs there is no multicast config under the NVI configuration at all never mind on the link to the outside world (RP is outside the fabric).
Has anyone manged to get this going or have any pointers?
