Dear All,
Thanks in Advance.
Is there any way where I can avoid downtime (Zero Downtime) for Data traffic while upgrading Firmware / NX-OS of Nexus 9300 Series switches?
Regards

You have issu feature : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus9000/sw/7-x/upgrade/guide/b_Cisco_Nexus_9000_Series_NX-OS_Software_Upgrade_and_Downgrade_Guide_Release_7x/b_Cisco_Nexus_9000_Series_NX-OS_Software_Upgrade_and_Downgrade_Guide_Release_7x_c...
The answer is yes and no, it depends from which version to which version.
If you're in issu guidelines/restrictions then yes otherwise you'll need to expect some downtime (even a small downtime).
Thanks
Francesco

This will depend on how your switches are configured and how your downline devices are connected. For example if you have a switch with dual supervisors you can do an issu upgrade. If you are using single switches that are connected in a vpc domain you can upgrade 1 switch at a time. Any downstream devices that are dual homed should maintain connectivity, however, if they are single homed they will loose connection when their connected switch reloads. The software upgrade does require a powercycle of the switch.
I have 6 N9300 connected in back-to-back vpc's. I upgrade 1 switch at a time and do not experience any downtime within my environment.
I hope this helps.
