New Motherboard, New NICs Server won't insert into 1000v VSM.

A motherboard was replaced on an HP DL380 server which subsequently changed the NICs.  This created a new VEM in the 1000v.  Deleted the old VEM and the new VEM, plasing the NEW VEM vmware ID where the old one was.  Doing through the Manage Hosts wizard I try to add one of the NICs to the 1000v switch and place the NIC in the System-Uplink port group.  Teh wizard finished with no error, although the NIC is not placed in the VSM.  Do I need to release the 2 licenses that the old motherboard may have been attached to within the VSM?

Found that I needed to remove the server from "Home > Inventory > Networking > Hosts tab".  I removed the server by right clicking on the server and selecting Remove.  After that I was able to add it back to the 1000v switch.
