Hello,
We are in a project to replace the core switches infrastructure, in an existing datacentre, with Nexus 9504.
We would like to use the design as describe in the document 'Design and Configuration Guide-Best Practices for VPC on Cisco Nexus
7000' in p.83, fig. 68 (DCI with a Single HSRP/VRRP Group - Active/Active in DC1 and Listen/Listen in DC2), to interconnect two datacentre,
I made some tests during a POC with two VPC pairs of N9000 and hit the bug CSCuq09078.
It is mentioned that this architecture is not currently supported with Nexus 9000
- The problem appears during resiliency tests (cut VPC links on second pair of N9000) . Particularly when links are restored.
- The SVI on the second pair of Nexus 9000 become not reachable
- I observed that the process 'netstack' increases to 25%
- The current sw version is 6.1(2)I3(2)
- By removing the HSRP configuration on the second pairs of N9000 the stability of the system is completely restored
Do you know if this design will be supported in a future version of NX-OS with Nexus 9000?
