Route traffic between 2 DC's via Nexus 5548's

Hi All,

We have kit at 2 DC's with Nexus 2 different vPC Domain's.

We have say vlan 50 at 1 DC and vlan 60 at the other, I create vPC trunk on 2 DWDM links at both sites and allow both vlans at each site..

My question is which is best way to route traffic between the 2 sites and vlan 50 & 60?

Should create vrf, eigrp or ospf on the Nexus 5548's or do I use a seperate route (which I think would create more issues)

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Cheers

Geoff

As i understand you want to extend only VLAN and keep the Gateway in same DC,  If both the VLAN locally only then extend the L2 network and allow VLAN in the Trunk.

So you can host VLAN 50 / 60 both the side.

Hopefully, you have redundant link between DC in case one fails.

If this is not what you looking explain more ?
