I am trying to deploy QSFP-H40G-CU1M on my flock of Nexus 9300, various hardware flavors (N9K-C9372TX/PE and N9K-C93180YC-EX / N9K_C93108TC-EX) running varying versions of 7.x and 9.x, with varying results, none of them successful thus far. I note that these platforms all successfully support QSFP-40G-SRBD and QSFP-40/100G-SRBD just fine
For example, sometimes the platform recognizes the transceiver. Othertimes, the platform declares the transceiver 'unsupported'. And yet othertimes, the platform sees a transceiver ... but misidentifies it, sometimes badly so (as, for example, a 10GBaseSR transceiver). In no cases does link come up (I am stringing multiple QSFP-H40G-CU1M cables between different pairs of N9K).
The Cisco Optics-to-Optics Compatibility Matrix declares these platforms and QSFP-H40G-CU1M as compatible
Does anyone have QSFP-H40G-CUxM working in their Nexus 9300s? If so, which particular platform and NX-OS version?
